I agree Cheryl. Always wished too that Walker brought Angela into Alex after her C- Section or brought Alex down to the nursery to see the baby. A good WAM opportunity wasted though I did enjoy their few moments when she woke up. Then we got Walker going after the gang and the last family moment on the porch to end the series. Would have really enjoyed seeing more of the party and less of the gang stuff-though I know that was to keep the male audience happy. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some action; but for me it was the romance that held my interest then and now. ;)

Another scene I wish transpired into something more was when Alex woke up Walker to feel the baby know kick.Well, the baby never kicked & Walker said, "well, we have all night." I do not believe they fell right back to sleep😉

Right there with you Cheryl. Sad we never even got to see Walker hold Angela. I too often wished we got at least another season. Would have loved to see how they took to parenting.

I believe when Alex and Walker were "calling it a night" they didn't go right to sleep. The announcement of a new baby on the way would have been wonderful.

Yes, what could have been. Sigh.

Agreed, Linda!

I wish we would've gotten one more season to see how Alex & Walker handled a newborn/their work. It's a shame we had to guess what was happening off screen between certain moments.

In the WTR movie, who thinks that when Walker & Alex called it a night, it was time for them to be passionate?

Also, it would've been nice to hear that they were expecting another baby.

::sigh:: so many thoughts..

Feeling a little melancholy after watching part of the WTR Movie last night on INSP. Makes me think of what could have been and how we were left hanging. Also makes me miss the show and the characters. So grateful for this site and the amazing writers who share their love of a tv show and to Connie for giving us this place to discuss and share memories and WAMS. ;)

Wow Kathy- sounds amazing. I was involved like that with another show- Dr Quinn Medicine Woman- helped raise money to get Jane Seymour her star on the Walk of Fame. I also met many wonderful people- fans as well as cast/crew. I was lucky to be able to fly to LA for the Star Ceremony and we had a few reunions out at Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills where the show was filmed. Got to meet Jane and the cast as well as many writers, producers and the creator Beth Sullivan. The show was no longer in production when I fly across country to these events but many did get to visit the set as it is part of the National Parks. I made friends and memories I will treasure forever. :o I think that's part of what brought me to Walker- I had heard similar stories of fans' experiences and always loved Chuck and Sheri.

Yes Linda, you would have loved it. We had a lot of fun every week discussing every detail of the most recent episode. . It was the relatively early days of the Internet. Gordon Dawson, Bob Gookin and Aaron Norris among others associated with the show occasionally posted on the boards. They loved to tease us about what they had planned for the show. Gordon Dawson in particular was very kind to us. He had a great sense of humor.

Many of us became close friends, we even had a get-together in Dallas in 1997 or 1998. We were privileged enough to be invited to tour the WTR set and meet Chuck.

On the night of the finale we had 2 parties, one on each coast. I hosted the one on the west coast. A few minutes after it aired Gordon Dawson called my house to ask what we thought of the show. I have never had before, nor do I ever expect again to have an Executive Producer/writer of a TV show call and ask my opinion of the series finale.

I have many wonderful memories from those days.
